It is usually most economical for the height of the outer box not to exceed 140mm. For your preferred rigidness of the box, the higher the number (GSM), the thicker the greyboard. 

If the overall design of the box pattern is a darker color or hue, we recommend the box utilizes anti-scratch, matte lamination which can reduce the muddiness of colors and bring out some of the details from your art a bit more.

The magnetic box is normally paired with iron pieces and magnets to ensure suction. The magnet's magnetic force setting is normally recommended to be N42 or more and it is advised to consider the weight range of the product when designing it. 

If you do not have a lot of components within your box, we suggest a fold-form magnetic box so that you can pay for flat packaging when shipping, which saves on shipping costs. Usually, we apply a matte lamination and embossing surface treatment to define its higher grade. 

Keep in mind that though structured after the "set up box", the magnetic box's total weight, including internal accessories and magnetic strips, is usually slightly heavier.

350gsm C2S is thick enough to have a nice feeling on hand and it's sturdy enough even after multiple plays and the most important is that it's cheaper than black core's. Currently, it's the most cost-effective material for most of our manufactured big projects that are over $1 million funding from KS or Gamefound.

The game board is one of the core accessories of a game, a complete flat, nice feeling, and well-designed board can add a lot of value to the game.

The typical material is 157gsm C2S+1200gsm grey paper+157gsm special paper and they can be one fold, two folds, or three folds. Here we'd like to introduce the punchboard in particular as it's also the main component of a game. Currently, the most popular punchboard can be either single-layer or double-layer.

The typical material for a 2mm single-layer punchboard in games like Nemesis is 250gsm CCNB + 900gsm greyboard + 250gsm CCNB. The double-layer punchboard is also called recessed board and it's the deluxe version of the punchboard. The most representative one is the double-layer punchboard in Tainted Grail, which consists of 250gsm CCNB + 900gsm greyboard + 250gsm CCNB + 900gsm greyboard + 250gsm CCNB.

To ensure a proper die-cutting process, the die-cut line for each puzzle piece cannot be less than 3mm. Each puzzle piece is recommended to be larger than 20x20mm. It is not recommended to use laminated surface treatment on the back of the puzzle. 

Rulebooks with a small number of pages work better with saddle-stitching. During rulebook layout, the total number of pages must be a multiple of 4. Saddle-stitched rulebooks should not have more than 48 pages, while glued binding must be more than 48 pages. If the book cover has dark colors, to prevent scratches it is recommended to use anti-scratch film, which will significantly improve its appearance and quality.

PS material is usually used to make ordinary Plastic Pieces, while ABS material is more suitable for making high-end Plastic Pieces. If you focus more on the texture, ABS material will be better for you.
