As a miniatures lover, I'm grateful for all the joy that painting miniatures has brought to me. It's a hobby that I've been able to enjoy for many years, and I know that I'll continue to enjoy it for many years to come. But I can’t ignore that painted miniatures it’s a time-consuming way, we do not always produce what we want, and it’s too expensive, and applying paint to walls can be untidy, and it's simple to get stains on your floors, ceilings, furniture, or appliances. I enjoy the happiness, but I also want to own well-painted miniatures to improve the look of my game. So today let me reveal the secrets of how well-painted miniatures are produced.
The first step is to provide your miniatures production factory a 3D files. To ensure that your game designs or 3D files are accurately put into production, we are equipped with experienced retouching experts and engineers to review your requests in all aspects, to also meet our plastic guidelines. You can also give us your guides or specifications to meet your requirements so that production will be smooth and effortless. Following this, our engineers will analyze your designs and provide professional advice, which may save you a significant amount of time and money. We can also help modify your 3D files by deepening the details, filling the undercuts, or tweaking the poses, finally making it even sharper details with fewer cuts. If you need our help to create 3D files based on your 2D art, we can also be a great help.
When the files are ready, we will prepare for the pre-production. We will create a complete set of red wax for review by both parties, for your final approval. Once they are approved, we will produce a set of PU samples for your confirmation depicting the final version of your game and will ship it to you, to ensure you are satisfied and ready for us to proceed to mass production. When we send you the PU samples, those samples are usually painted.
All things are ready, the next step is to prepare for opening the molds. Usually, not all molds can produce the perfect products that match your standards, so at this time, we also need you to confirm the details of the new molds. Any minor details can still be adjusted at this stage. Once all things are confirmed, we will go to mass production. The unpainted miniatures will be glued and assembled in the factory workshop, but the painted miniatures need to go through the process of coloring. Let’s see what happens.
The price of painted miniatures will be higher compared to ordinary miniatures. The number of coloring bits and the distribution of the positions will affect the number of disassembled parts, the number of spraying positions, and the number of fixtures for the production of the miniatures, which will affect the cost of the production.
When we receive the file, we will fully understand your game background and your expectations, and provide feedback and suggestions about the cost of your file; usually, we suggest that if there are similar colors in different miniatures production, please try to make the same color. Of course, we will also respect your judgment to give feedback, under the premise of both sides confirming, that you need to provide a new version of the coloring guide chart to us.
