As one of China's top board game makers, Eastar has consistently been dedicated to exploring sustainable development in the board game pieces manufacturing for our clients. Our dedication to protecting the environment is showcased in our sample box 2023, which will be revealed at Essen Spiel 2023.
We should not underestimate our commitment to sustainable development! The sample box for Eastar game manufacturing in 2023 is a clear demonstration of this commitment.
This year, we've divided the sample box into three different themes. The layer on the left showcases eco-friendly game pieces, while the centre layer offers a selection of creative game pieces. On the right layer, you'll find a focus on training game pieces.
We have used a range of materials, such as paper, plastic, and wood, in the production of our eco-friendly game pieces. Our wooden and paper materials have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which guarantees that our production adheres to strict environmental, social, and economic standards. Although the use of degradable plastic materials poses a challenge, as these products are not yet fully established in the market, we are committed to developing new materials that are suitable for board game pieces. This endeavour enhances the production and development cycle and necessitates a careful equilibrium between cost and efficiency. Despite these challenges, Eastar remains fully committed to achieving the highest quality craftsmanship and relentlessly pursuing our environmental protection goals, no matter the cost.
In addition to the materials we use, we also employ water-based ink and ink that is free from mineral oil in our printing process. This showcases our dedication to protecting the environment and minimising the damage caused by conventional ink products. During the packaging stage, we opted to utilise paper tape and paper stickers instead of the conventional method of using hot wrap shrink. This decision helps to further minimise the environmental impact of plastic.
