By the end of January 2023, after finishing the spring festival holiday which is known to celebrate the beginning of a lunisolar calendar year, we are all back to embark on a new journey in the board game manufacturing industry with integrity and passion.
During the long holiday in traditional spring festival, people celebrate the lunar new year with diverse cultural activities, decorations with red lanterns and spring festival couplets, family union dinner on new year’s eve, setting off fireworks, watching lion and dragon dances, exchanging red envelops and other gifts, etc. Those are multiple ways to express best wishes for a happy new year.
In Eastar, we also have the tradition to express our best wishes for achieving goals in the new year. The warmest welcome back to the office is delivered to each staff with a red envelop, orange, and the drink with ‘Wang’ on it. The irrelevant combination is a metaphor for energy, happiness, and good luck in the Chinese language.
